Awards and news coverage

SkillsFuture SG Employer Award (GOLD) 2023

We were honoured to receive the SkillsFuture SG Employer Award (GOLD) 2023, which recognises employers that champion employee development and create a culture of continuous learning. Visa’s Head of People for Asia Pacific, Goki Muthusamy, accepted the award from the President of Singapore, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam at a ceremony in October last year.

At Visa, our employees are powered to grow with access to award-winning training and courses at our Visa University, financial support to help pay for ongoing external education, and opportunities to gain experience in other roles and functions through short-term secondments.

Our Visa Technology Traineeship Program is also further contributing to expanding the pool of talent in Singapore’s growing tech industry. This 12-month work-based program, supported under the TeSA Company-Led Training (CLT) Programme, is a joint initiative between Visa and IMDA. Since its launch in early 2022, we’ve seen 113 trainees graduate and plan to train a total of 300 technology professionals by the end of 2025.
